Importing Contacts in Bulk from an Excel File

- On the Contact List page, click the Import button.
- Follow the prompts to upload your prepared Excel File.
- Group Selection: During the import process, you will have the option to Select One or More Contact Groups to which these new contacts will be immediately added. This helps in segmenting your audience from the start.
- Once the upload is complete, a Report Will be Displayed, indicating the number of contacts successfully imported and any potential errors.
💡 Tips: Using the bulk Import Contacts feature is the Fastest Way to upload your existing email list data into Gersuz for email marketing campaigns.
Email Validation and Cleaning (The Validity Checker)
Immediately after a bulk import, the platform's built-in Validity Checker feature automatically begins verifying the imported email addresses.
- The system checks for structural errors and invalid domains.
- Any email addresses flagged as structurally invalid or associated with an invalid domain will be automatically moved to the Invalid Email group.
- This crucial step prevents the platform from sending emails to bad addresses, protecting your SMTP Relay Reputation.
- You can review the emails in the invalid email group to Fix Structural typos and Re-Validate them.
The Contact List page provides essential tools for list maintenance:
